My property has been sold, so I am no longer renting it out. Do I need to contact someone to remove it from the City’s rental program?

Yes, you must notify the Community Development Department within 10 days of any change in ownership, or you will remain responsible for the residential rental license. Contacting another department within the City will not assure the information is forwarded. Please call 301-722-2000 ext. 5600, or send by mail to: 57 N. Liberty St., Cumberland, MD 21502.
