The City of Cumberland Engineering Department would like to notify the public on the behalf of Columbia Gas of Maryland that on April 12th, 2023 to April 14th, 2023 there will be construction performed on S Central Ave, between Park St and Maryland Ave.
Between the hours of 7AM and 5PM, this section of S Central Ave will be closed to all traffic. Detour signage will be put in place to direct traffic around the work site.
The road closure will allow Columbia Gas and its contractor to complete a critical task in the project area.
