The City of Cumberland’s evaluation of Baltimore Street assets, such as light poles, benches, bike racks, trash cans, etc., is currently an internal process, with the hope being that the bulk of the items can find a new use at other City locations.
City staff will be submitting requests up until January 20th, at which time a final review will determine which assets can be repurposed and which will be made available to other entities.
Once that final review has been completed, the City will issue further guidance to the public regarding the process by which external parties may make a request for any remaining assets.
