The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland will convene in open session on Tuesday, March 29th at 5:45 p.m. on the second floor of City Hall, and will immediately close the session to discuss the Cumberland Economic Development Corporation's acquisition of a certain parcel of City-owned land. Authority to close the session is provided by Section 3-305(b)(3) of the Annotated Code of Maryland.
Beginning at 6:15 p.m., the Mayor and Council will hold a special public meeting in the City Hall Council Chambers to address several issues pertaining to the redesignation of the Arts and Entertainment District in Historic Downtown Cumberland.
