The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland will meet January 7, 8, 9, and 10 in Open Sessions on the second floor of City Hall for the purpose of immediately immediately closing the meetings to hold Executive Sessions pursuant to Section 3-305(b) (1) of the General Provisions Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland to conduct interviews for the open Council seat and to discuss an appointment to that seat. The January 7th meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m., the January 8th meeting will begin at 4:00 p.m., the January 9th meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m., and the January 10th meeting will begin at 4:00 p.m. Questions regarding this matter may be directed to the City Administrator's Office at 301-759-6424.
