The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 beginning at 6:15 p.m. in the Cumberland City Hall Council Chambers. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public presentation of funding requests from community / non-profit groups interested in receiving support from the City’s FY 2016 hotel/motel funds. Interested organizations must submit a written request to the City Administrator’s office by Friday, September 4, 2015. Hotel / Motel Funding
FY 2016
If your community/non-profit organization would like to request hotel/motel funding for FY2016 (July 1, 2015 - June 30, 3016) from the City of Cumberland, please provide the following information to the City Administrator's office by Friday, September 4, 2015:
1) A letter from the organization requesting support from the hotel/motel fund and specifying the dollar amount of the request;
2) Activities or events undertaken by the organization;
3) Proposed use of City funding received (i.e. specific projects, events, operations, capital, purchase, etc.);
A Public Hearing before the Mayor and City Council is scheduled for:
Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 6: 15 p.m.

Each group will be provided approximately 5 minutes during this hearing to discuss their request.
