The City of Cumberland Street
Department will repair damage to the roadway caused by the recent water main
break on Oldtown Road at Winifred Road.
The work will require a rebuild of the intersection, which will have
significant drops and changes in grade prior to paving that may be detrimental
to vehicles.
The work will take place from Tuesday,
July 17, 2018 through Thursday, July 19, 2018, weather permitting. The street will be closed to vehicular
traffic from July 17th through July 19th at 4:00 p.m. The closure will consist of Oldtown Road,
from Massachusetts Avenue to White Oaks Avenue.
It also includes Winifred Road from Michigan Avenue to Oldtown
Road. Access will be granted to
driveways inside the scope of work.
