On Tuesday, May 1, 2018, the Mayor and City Council of Cumberland will hold a budget work session beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the second floor conference room of City Hall. This meeting is open to the public. Beginning at 5:45 p.m., the Mayor and Council will convene in Open Session for the purpose of closing the meeting for an Executive Session pursuant to Section 3-305 (b) (1) and (9) of the General Provisions Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland to discuss personnel matters involving a certain city employee and to discuss issues pertaining to negotiations with the UFCW #1994, representing members of the Cumberland Police Department. Beginning at 6:15 p.m., the Mayor and Council will hold their regularly scheduled public meeting in the City Hall Council Chambers.
