The City of Cumberland announces that contractors will be power washing the George Street Garage from February 20 – 21, 2018. There will be no lane or street closures on Tuesday, February 20th, but on Wednesday, February 21st, one lane of traffic on Union Street will be closed to thru-traffic from Centre Street to George Street. Customers of the Chessie Federal Credit Union will be able to enter and exit the Chessie parking lot with no inconvenience. The work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day and, if necessary, may continue into Thursday, February 22nd.
