The Cumberland Mayor and City Council will meet in regular session on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, beginning at 6:15 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. The Mayor and Council will also meet in closed session that evening beginning at 5:00 p.m. to discuss appointments to a Citizen Advisory Commission on organizational wages and benefits, to meet with legal council to obtain legal advice regarding the proposed terms of an ordinance to create the commission, and to receive legal advice regarding the terms of a mutual aid agreement for fire and EMS services with Allegany County, Maryland. Authority to close this meeting is provided by the General Provisions Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, Sections 3-305 (b) (1) and (7).
