In support of a beautification project to place American flags throughout the City during patriotic holidays, the Cumberland Chapter of The Woodmen of the World has donated 125 flags to the Let's Beautify Cumberland! project. Citizens who wish to provide financial help to support the program, may sponsor a flag for $75.00. This donation will allow a placard to be placed on the flag pole with an inscription consisting of up to 3 lines with 15 characters per line. Flags will be displayed on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Flag Day, Labor Day, Patriot Day (9-11), and Veteran's Day.
Note: Flag sponsorship will be limited to the first 100 flags, with names being taken for a waiting list.
