The City of Cumberland is making City-owned real estate available for purchase through a Bid Sale Process. Surplus properties that were not sold through the sealed bid process are being offered for sale on an ongoing basis.
Interested Bidders must obtain a bid packet in one of the following ways:

- Request a copy be mailed to you by calling Chelsea Rexrode at 301-759-6442.
Completed bid packets may be mailed to the office of the City Clerk at City Hall, 57 N. Liberty Street, Cumberland, MD 21502. Proposals will be accepted on an ongoing basis. Proposals will be opened and read bi-weekly, or on an as-needed schedule determined by the Mayor and City Council. The review committee will make a recommendation for award to the Mayor and City Council based on the merits of the intended use of the property, highest bid amount and responsibility of the bidder.
